We aim to deliver your goods in 1-2 days for stock items and within 2–5 working days for non stock items. Lead times may vary depending upon the item and supplier but are usually shipped within five working days of your order.
If an item is out of stock, or there is a problem with delivery we will notify you of an approximate delivery date and give you the option to proceed with the order or cancel.
All goods must be signed for on delivery. Please do not sign for goods that appear to be damaged, send them back with the carrier. If the goods are damaged we must be notified within 24 hours.
If you are not going to be in at the delivery address, you can request an alternative address to your billing address to have your goods delivered to, e.g place of work or neighbours etc.

Our Scottish Highlands & Scottish Islands delivery is only available to the following postcodes:
At checkout there is the option to collect for free from either our Bedford or Nottingham branch, if an item is in stock it can be collected the same day during working hours. If the item is not in stock please allow 2-5 days and the relevant branch will contact you directly to arrange collection or delivery.
Long items such as conduit and trunking can be delivered within a 30 mile radius of either of our branches or collected from store. Please ensure you select collection or local delivery. No other delivery options will be available if any of these products are in your basket. Details below for local delivery areas.

Whilst goods on the website may state that they are in stock, this may not always be the case, the stock feed is only as live as it can be. At times stock can leave our warehouse quicker than we can update the website, this is why we always give our customers the choice of how they would like an out of stock item to be dealt with. If you would like to check the accurate stock level of the item you wish to purchase; do call or email and we will endeavour to respond as quickly as possible.
Our Returns Policy
If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, please email us () explaining why you wish to return or exchange the item. We will then provide you with an individual returns number.
Please note that items cannot be returned unless they are in their original condition and within 14 days of the original purchase date. Returns need to be sent back at customers own cost using a trackable delivery service. The item is your responsibility until it reaches us. For your own protection, we therefore recommend that you send the parcel using a delivery service that insures the parcel for the value of the goods. Please always arrange proof of posting (available free of charge at post office counters) when returning goods. This does not affect your statutory rights.
Please include the original packaging, any enclosed documentation in the return and clearly mark your returns number. Where items are received in their original condition, and in accordance with the above, a full refund for the goods only will be issued on receipt. If the item is not returned in its original condition and is unsaleable, we will be unable to authorise a refund, and the item will be returned to you.
Please allow 7-10 working days for your refund to be processed after you have returned your item(s) to us. If you have not been refunded after 30 days of returning the item(s), please contact us with the proof of postage information from your return carrier receipt and we will check this out for you.
Faulty or Incorrect Items
If the item you received is faulty or is not what you originally ordered, please contact us via email in the contact us section. You will need to quote your order number, your name and address, details of the product with images of the fault/damage (where possible) and the reason for return, and whether you require a refund or a replacement. We will then advise accordingly.
